Marshland Credit Union will award a $2,500 Memorial Scholarships to ten (10) 2025-2026 school year graduates. At least one of the five scholarships will be awarded to a graduating student who plans to attend the College of Coastal Georgia in the fall.

Five (5) to students planning to attend any 4-year college
One (1) to a student planning to attend Coastal College of Georgia
Four (4) to students planning to attend any technical school
Applicants must be a member or a relative of a member of Marshland Credit Union. You can join easily online or from you phone today! Winners will be announced in early May 2026.
Applicants for the awards must be a senior student of a Appling, Brantley, Bryan, Camden, Charlton, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long McIntosh, Pierce, Wayne or Ware County school who plans to pursue post-secondary studies. Applicants must either be a member, or the son or daughter of a member in good standing of Marshland Credit Union. Applicants will be selected based on academic achievement, school citizenship, and community and school involvement.
The application package must include the following:
A completed application form.
Two (2) letters of recommendation.
High school transcripts (include SAT scores or ACT scores if available)
Proof of acceptance for post secondary studies.
ESSAY: In your own words, please respond to the following questions. Why do you feel you need or can benefit from this scholarship? What are your goals for the next few years? What do you hope to accomplish and how do you see the prospects of a higher education affecting the rest of your life?
The application package must be completed and submitted to Marshland Credit Union no later than Monday, March 9, 2026. All requested documents must be included in the application package when submitted.
Any incomplete application package will be disqualified. We recommend completing the application process in one session as it will not save your progress before completion.
The Scholarship Committee of the Credit Union Board of Directors will select award recipients and notify them before the Annual Meeting of Marshland Credit Union’s membership in April.
