Documents You Need For A Mortgage
Thank you for trusting Marshland CU with your mortgage needs. Below you will find a general list of items needed to complete the mortgage application process. This is not a comprehensive list, please provide what is applicable to your situation and understand that we may need further documentation.
Items should be in pdf format unless otherwise specified.
General Items:
Copy of valid driver’s license or ID - jpeg is acceptable
Paystub covering the most recent 4 weeks
W-2’s from most recent 2 years
Most recent bank statement (Must be in traditional bank statement form. No screenshots.)
Most recent quarterly investment or retirement account statement - if applicable
Copy of recorded divorce decree - if applicable
Only if self-employed or have rental income, significant dividend/interest income, royalties
Federal Individual Tax Returns - All Schedules - Most recent 2 years
Federal Business Tax Returns - All Schedules - Most recent 2 years
If retired or draw any retirement or disability income or annuity income
Most recent award letter
1099 for most recent 2 years
If you own real estate or are refinancing
Most recent mortgage statement
Copy of homeowners insurance/property insurance
Most recent tax bill
Proof of any HOA dues
